Itinerary II. Social entrepreneurship, sustainability and CSR

We will make an introduction to the fundamental characteristics and concepts of social entrepreneurship, highlighting the importance of the differences with social companies, introducing the application of the concepts of sustainable development in companies in general, as socially responsible companies and the application of social responsibility. business or corporate, showing the fundamental points and common elements.

We will discuss the characteristics of the current environment and the state of the social entrepreneurship sector at a national and international level. We will see the trends and benefits for traditional companies, as well as examples of collaboration between the social sector and companies to create synergies and new business models.

We will see the main tools and basic methodologies of entrepreneurship and innovation applied to social entrepreneurship, some models of social entrepreneurship, impact investment and financing of entrepreneurship that solves social problems through business models.

We will know the differences with organizations related to the social economy in general and in relation to market opportunities.

We will make an introduction to sustainable development, we will review the concepts of reference, context and management of sustainability as a necessary and differentiating element, the increase in the competitiveness of organizations and contribution to true sustainable development and ethical commitment.

We will talk about business and corporate social responsibility, how to develop social responsibility strategies, what is socially responsible investment and planning and comprehensive management of sustainability.

This workshop will be taught by Jaime Fernandez Truchado, expert in social innovation, ecological economics, rural development, change management, social entrepreneurship and impact measurement.

The training will take place on the days November 30, December 1 and 2 in hybrid format. The schedule for its development is from 10:00 to 14:30.
