Do you know the term food design? Does it catch your attention? Design influences the entire food industry directly and from Madrid Food Innovation Hub we want to teach you how to take advantage of it.

The packaging, the shape, color or other aspects of a product are determining elements for the purchase decision by the consumer. Therefore, we want to help unite the design and food industries, generating benefit for both.

In the second edition of this training program, food design, We will have theoretical-practical sessions and we will help you create food products and services, as well as promote the communication and image of existing gastro-food products.

If you come from the creative industries and are interested in the food field, or you come from the food field and are interested in the creative industries, this is your training program!

SESSIONS and CONTENTS

The course consists of 8 sessions, in the following days:

  • Monday, February 27 – 16:00: Introduction to food design and business models in food.
  • Tuesday, February 28 – 16:00: R&D in the food industry.
  • Wednesday, March 1 – 4:00 p.m.: Avant-garde culinary formats and techniques. (PRACTICAL CLASSES)
  • Thursday, March 2 -4:00 p.m.: Sector trends.
  • Monday, March 6 – 16:00: design thinking: Empathization, definition, ideation, prototyping and testing.
  • Tuesday, March 7 -16:00: Social and sustainable impact.
  • Thursday March 9 -16:00: branding and packaging.ON-LINE
  • Monday, March 13 – 4:30 p.m.: Digital strategy. 

All sessions will last approximately 2 hours.

At the end of the course, we will give a diploma to those who have attended all the sessions of the program.

WHO IS IT DIRECTED TO?

  • Creative industries and communication professionals. Culinary field, design, architecture, interior architecture, photography, marketing, advertising etc. who want to enter the gastro-food sector.
  • Entrepreneurs and startups of the gastro-food sector.
  • Entrepreneurs, managers and professionals in the gastro-food sector, especially those within the areas of innovation, design, communication and marketing. General employees of the agri-food industry with interest in the food design, design of new experiences, packaging, etc.
